It is still a solid $458.5 million below Avatar’s $2.0275 billion overseas cume. And, yes, it has passed the $2.189 billion global gross of Titanic to become the second-biggest movie of all time. That said, with $2.189 billion worldwide following a $428 million global weekend, it has a shot at passing Avatar in the global race. Barring a sharp turn in either direction, we may be looking at a close-but-no-cigar $2.715 billion global finish.
