Aquaman swam past the $200 million mark at the domestic box office yesterday. The DC Films flick earned $16.7m on Tuesday (+66% from Monday and -24% from last Tuesday) to bring its 12-day domestic cume to $216.285m. It'll pass Mission: Impossible – Fallout ($220m) today and is now officially WB's biggest domestic (> A Star Is Born) and worldwide (> Ready Player One) release of 2018. If it holds tight (or doesn’t drop exceptionally hard), taking advantage of the relative lack of “big” newbies between now and M. Night Shyamalan’s Glass on January 18, it could leg it out to something over/under Man of Steel’s $291 million domestic total. Oh, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has earned $56 million thus far in China, making it China’s biggest Hollywood toon of 2018.
