In non-Oscar holdover weekend box office news, How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World roared back to relative life over the weekend. The DreamWorks Animation threequel earned a $30 million Fri-Sun frame (a 4.9x weekend multiplier), to top the box office and pull a $97.6m ten-day domestic total. It's still on tap (if it continues to play like a DreamWorks Animation title) to be the year's first (or second, as Captain Marvel will get there first) title to cross $150 million domestic. With a $33m Fri-Sun weekend in China and a $52m overseas weekend gross, it's still flying relatively high around the world. Alita: Battle Angel earned another $7 million (-43%) in its third domestic weekend to bring its 18-day total to $72.2m.
