PETALING JAYA: Sin Li Jane (pic) fell short of winning Malaysia's second gold at the World Bowling Championships when she finished runner-up in the women's Masters event. Siti Safiyah delivered the other silver in the women's all events. Shalin and Siti Safiyah were also in action in the women's Masters, losing in the first and second round respectively. Siti Safiyah went down 160-176, 222-207, 201-205 to Ghislaine Stigter-Van der Tol of Holland while Shalin was beaten by Rikke Holm Agerbo 157-204, 187-210. In the men's division, Ahmad Muaz Fishol made it to the second round before he was stopped by Hong Kong's Wu Siuhong 199-243, 236-194, 185-224.
