PETALING JAYA: National bowler Esther Cheah (pic) is looking forward to a family reunion this Chinese New Year. The 32-year-old needs the short break so that she can return to the bowling alley refreshed – especially after getting off to a miserable start to the season this year. “My teammates and I are trying to stay fit and injury-free for the tournaments lined up for us,” said Esther. “My main goal this year is to win a gold medal at the Asian Games (in Indonesia in August). Last year, she ended her campaign by being part of the team that won a gold medal at the World Championships in Las Vegas, United States.
