BOWLS: The finalists have been found in the Manawatū open fours competition. Four teams booked their spots after section play and playoffs at Hokowhitu, Palmerston North and North End at the weekend. Sheryn Blake’s team (North End) will play Christine Quinn’s (North End) in the women’s final, while in the men’s decider Brian Little’s composite four will play Wayne Stewart’s composite team. ♦ The Bowls 3Five competition also continues this weekend at Palmerston North. Brian Looker's Palmerston North team has opened up a big gap on the rest of the field after they won two games again to make it six wins from six.
