Bowler Adrian hopes to land World Cup crown in his third attempt

MALAYSIA’S Adrian Ang hopes to be third time lucky when he competes in the AMF Bowling World Cup in Palembang, Indonesia next week. ‘Winning the World Championships (doubles) in 2018 and the ABF Thailand Open earlier this year are definitely a huge boost going into the World Cup. ‘The World Cup is slightly different from other competitions because the scores are carried forward from the first game to the final round. ‘I just want to treasure the moment of bowling in my third World Cup and come home with no regrets,’ he said. Malaysia have only won the World Cup once since its inception in 1965 - through Syafiq Ridhwan Abdul Malek in 2012 (Wroclaw, Poland).
