Tribune Online gathered that the university had been able to complete the second semester’s academic activities with the students in all the colleges through online teaching and learning, which resulted in the conduct of the first online examination that commenced on Monday. According to the Chancellor, Professor Joshua Ogunwole, in a statement issued from the university’s protocol and public relations office and made available to the Tribune Online on Monday, the institution had released guidelines for the examination on the university’s website early enough to prepare the students for the online examination. The statement read in part: “No distraction and interference during the online examination period, as the university has zero-tolerance for examination malpractices. It is an examination offence for students to block the cameras of their computers while the examination is ongoing and parents should limit their meddling during the period.
