A person is in a serious condition after a crash near the Melling interchange, Lower Hutt. One person has suffered serious injuries in a crash on State Highway Two near the Melling Link, Lower Hutt, blocking traffic. A car and truck collided on the highway about 6.45am on Tuesday. The accident had blocked both southbound lanes “completely” and partially blocked northbound lanes during the morning commuter rush. Significant queues were being reported on southbound lanes towards Haywards.
