Addressing the media here on Friday, BJP national secretary Y. Satya Kumar and State president Kanna Lakshminarayana said the YSRCP rule was no different from the TDP dispensation. They dubbed both the regimes as “anti-people.” Mr. Satya Kumar said caste-based and family-owned parties were likely to cause more damage to the State than feared. ‘Autocratic rule’“Within a few weeks of coming to power, the YSRCP government has proved that it does not stand for development, and that it is autocratic,” Mr. Satya Kumar added. The BJP would emerge stronger and occupy the position of the main opposition party to take on the “inept YSRCP government, he said. The BJP leaders later gave away saplings to the new members with an appeal to plant and adopt them.
