My superintendent in chief is the first African-American chief to run the Boston Police Department. It’s made their job and whole mission a little more difficult, and it’s obviously made our job a lot more stressful. What effect have the police killings in Dallas and Baton Rouge had on the police force in Boston? I was a young kid who didn’t have a whole lot, and the community brought me up. What’s going on around the country isn’t impacting the white community the way it is the minority community.
