Boris Johnson has said that the Conservatives will shelve a two per cent cut to the corporation tax rate next April. He said: ‘I hope you won’t mind if I also announce today that we are postponing further cuts in corporation tax. Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn yesterday suggested that he could hike corporation tax back up to 28 per cent if he becomes prime minister. Yesterday at the CBI conference, Mr Johnson committed to keeping Mr Javid in his post.
