Ahead of 2013 talks with Silicon Valley executives, she told ­officials to discuss it with Mr Johnson as he was “my point of contact”. Mr Johnson is facing ­questions over whether Ms Arcuri received ­privileged access to ­overseas trade missions and public grants due to their relationship. After a probe last year, the ­Independent Office for Police Conduct ruled there was no evidence Mr Johnson committed misconduct in public office, which is a criminal offence. The Independent Office for Police Conduct said there was no evidence he’d committed the criminal offence of misconduct in public office but he may have breached the Nolan Principles.
