In one jaw dropping moment, the Prime Minister was offered the chance to defend his bill - but Mr Johnson remained seated, his arms folded. When Mr Johnson failed to do so, Mr Miliband said: "He didn’t read the protocol, he hasn’t read the Bill, he doesn’t know his stuff." But Mr Miliband said the Prime Minister was trashing the UK's reputation overseas - and tearing up his own Brexit withdrawal agreement, which he signed just nine months ago. Mr Miliband concluded: "This is a pivotal moment in determining the future of our country - who we are and how we operate." He went on: "(Mr Johnson) should be focused on securing a Brexit deal not breaking international law and risking no-deal.
