Fieldays chief executive Peter Nation said there was great ingenuity in the Fieldays Innovation Centre. The creation of Hamilton high school students isn't actually dull - it's used to hold a post-hole borer. There were 70 entrants in the 2016 Fieldays Innovation Awards. It was developed by St Paul's Collegiate students, including Angus Kelly, left, and Connor Gordon.
