That date is September 13, 2019, confirmed that Borderlands 3 will indeed arrive this year, but there’s no surprise “it’s out now! !” spring release the way some have been hoping to see, ever since Apex Legends pulled that trick. The announcement also confirmed something else, that the PC version of the game will be exclusive to the Epic Store. The fall release shows that Borderlands is ready to go just five months after its premiere, shortening what otherwise might have been a longer hype cycle. In short, I think Borderlands 3 is going to have pretty clear field to dominate this fall.
