Midfielder Al Mandhar doubled the lead in the 68th minute, stabbing home from close range following a cross from the right flank. With the win, Oman closed the gap to one point with leader Qatar, earning nine points from four matches. Fourth-placed India played out a 1-1 draw with third-placed Afghanistan while Bangladesh sit at the bottom with one point. Bangladesh will host Afghanistan in their next match of Group E on March 26, 2020.
