Boost to national fertility care

The centre will be run by the National Population and Family Development Board (LPPKN), which is leading Malaysia’s efforts to deal with fertility issues and the impact on people’s lives through treatments, research and training. Patients will have access to specialist consultations, operating theatre suites and pharmacy services, ensuring comprehensive care under one roof. A team of reproductive medicine consultants, obstetrics and gynaecology specialists, embryologists and fertility nurses will manage patient care. Charges at the centre will follow national regulations such as the Population and Family Development Act. “Approvals from the Finance Ministry are expected soon, with major works including site surveys, design planning and earthworks to begin in early 2026.
