So, the experts say those in the outlying areas of the county have lower vaccination rates than those of the “city folk” (Vaccination rates in the county vary greatly by location,” The Herald, June 1). Where were the vaccination clinics located? If the numbers in Granite Falls, Darrington, Sultan, Stanwood, Monroe and the other smaller Snohomish County towns, why aren’t the clinics being brought to those communities? How is giving tickets away to a baseball game in Everett going to bring someone in from Granite Falls for a shot if the can’t get to a mass clinic? Bring the pop-up clinics to those outlying towns, with plenty of notice!
