American Legion Post 347 is no stranger to accolades. This year is the first time all three roles have been filled by Post 347 members. “It just shows that great things continue to happen out of American Legion Post 347,” said Steve Shuga, American Legion Department of Florida commander. Alongside Seidel are Carol Pirone-Udell, the American Legion Auxiliary District 6 president, and Richard Duncan, the Sons of the American Legion District 6 squadron commander. Pirone-Udell said it makes sense that District 6 has leaders from Post 347 because of the collaborative atmosphere of the post.
