The company lost as much as half its value this morning after warning that it could tumble into the red in its current financial year, forcing it to write down the value of its high street chain. In a bleak trading update that came three weeks after it reported interim profits of £3.3 million, Bonmarché said that sales over the Black Friday weekend had been “extremely poor”. Despite offering extensive discounts trading had not recovered since then. It now expects to post a loss of as much as £4 million in the 12 months to the end…
