World-renowned Filipina bowler Olivia “Bong” Coo and Gymnastics Association of the Philippines (GAP) president Cynthia Carrion headline Philippine Sports Commission’s (PSC) women empowerment web series Rise Up! The eighth episode which closes the two-month-long series is entitled “Aging Gracefully: Embracing Life’s Golden Years,” and focuses on these two accomplished women’s healthcare and best lifestyle practices for their age. “Women need to manage their health better later in life as medical studies show that they are more prone to heart disease, osteoporosis, Alzheimer’s, depression and anxiety, and hormone changes. The episode also features Dr. Florosita Reyes, a fellow at Philippine Geriatric Medicine, who will discuss active aging and dietary tips for older women. As a season-ender, Rise Up, Shape Up’s final episode for 2020 also looks back on the journey of the series.
