Of 11 bombing scenes, five were reported in Narathiwat province – in Cho Airong, Chanae, Rangae, Waeng and Sungai Kolok districts. Authorities cordoned off the bombed petrol stations for examination and investigation and stepped up security measures in the region. Local people were advised to remain in their residences and avoid petrol stations for the time being.
