The Winnipeg Blue Bombers used Day 2 of CFL free agency to sign a defensive back. Winston Rose (6-foot-0, 174 pounds) is a 25-year-old who spent last season with the B.C. Lions, where he started 15 games at cornerback, intercepted 5 passes – tied for the B.C. All-star safety Taylor Loffler today signed a two-year deal with Montreal, a day after corner Kevin Fogg bolted for Toronto. The Bombers, as of Wednesday, had no immediate plans to fly Walker into Winnipeg, although they weren’t ruling it out, either.
