Bomb threat prompts extra security at 2 Regina schools


Police were called to a bomb threat that affected two Regina elementary schools Wednesday morning. Police were notified of a bomb threat at 9:49 a.m. CST. Nothing suspicious was found and things were back to normal by 11 a.m. Security was stepped up at Jack MacKenzie School and St. Gabriel School — which are public and Catholic facilities on the same lot in the southeast of the city — while police searched the premises.
