Bomb threat ends, students return to Jasper Place High School


Students and staff at Jasper Place High School have been allowed back in after a bomb threat forced them to evacuate Wednesday morning. Police were initially called to the west-end school just before 10 a.m.Staff and students were evacuated and sent to St. Francis Xavier High School as police investigated. The Edmonton Police Service said the bomb threat was made by telephone message. EPSB spokesman Brad Stromberg said the evacuation was a precautionary measure, and that all staff and students were safe. Police released few details and referred all questions to the Edmonton Public School Board.
