Police and bomb disposal units were called to a brand new building site on Rawcliffe Road after the unexploded bomb was found. It was detonated in a controlled explosion 29 hours after the bomb was discovered. A police cordon was set up around the device, with large parts of the M62 and nearby roads shut. 'Those living or staying in the wider immediate area are asked to remain indoors from 8pm this evening.
