Officers attempted to stop the driver on the coastbound M20 in Kent, near to junction 12. The motorist failed to stop and left the motorway before returning to the London-bound carriageway, forcing police to take action to halt the car. He said police were trying to get cars to reverse the wrong way along the carriageway. A 27-year-old man from Wales was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop for police.
