Bolton stadium could be SHUT for next 2 games as their struggles hit new low

The University of Bolton Stadium has been deemed unsafe by the Safety Advisory Group (SAG), which issued the Championship outfit with a prohibition notice. Now Saturday’s relegation six-pointer against fellow strugglers Ipswich and promotion chasing Middlesbrough's visit next Tuesday night are both in jeopardy. The SAG, which includes the police, ambulance service, fire service and local council, raised concerns about the club’s ability to guarantee the safety of fans. Four-times FA Cup winners Bolton are unable to meet the obligations required to be issued with a stadium safety certificate until their winding-up order, issued by HMRC, has been heard at the High Court on Wednesday. “That is fully understandable, but perhaps they could also explain why the results up to Christmas were not exactly impressive either?”
