U.S. National Security Adviser John Bolton warned Iran on Sunday to not “mistake U.S. prudence and discretion for weakness” after President Donald Trump chose to call off a planned military strike against Tehran late last week. “Sanctions are biting and more added last night,” Bolton said, referring to Trump’s announcement of “major” impending sanctions against Tehran. “John Bolton is absolutely a hawk.
