Bolt, the ride-hailing company, issued a statement condemning the act and has suspended the driver from their platform. Bolt stated they were committed to the safety of their drivers and passengers and would support their clients through such incidents. We remain committed to promptly addressing and continuously supporting our valued clients during such difficult moments…We remain committed to vigilance and swift response in handling such incidents,” read the statement.
