MAD FilmsSacrificial, destructive, vindictive, saintly, and sometimes all these things at once, motherhood is one of Bollywood’s most enduring subjects, as complicated as onscreen depictions of women in general. This Friday, Indian screen legend Sridevi, who ruled the marquee in the ‘80s and early ‘90s, is back as a vengeful mother in Mom.
