Bolivia was hit by more mass demonstrations Monday when hundreds of protesters clashed with rival demonstrators and security forces in the capital of La Paz over claims President Evo Morales committed of election fraud. The opposition is protesting election fraud that they claim awarded President Morales a fourth term in office. But when reporting of the count resumed after a nearly 24-hour pause, Morales had pulled off a razor-thin victory. The streets of La Paz, which has a million residents, were half-empty on Monday morning, with many shops and schools shuttered.
