In a statement, BAFTA said "BAFTA considers the alleged behaviour completely unacceptable and incompatible with its values." Bohemian Rhapsody star Rami Malek previously stated that he was unaware of the allegations against Singer prior to filming his Oscar and BAFTA-nominated turn as Freddie Mercury.
