One couple’s afternoon walk turned horrifying when they spotted a body in the water at Sand Beach Road Parkette in Etobicoke on Monday afternoon. Police were called to the scene just before 3:30 p.m. and found a man in Lake Ontario with no vital signs. They soon pronounced him dead. The Marine Unit was called in to assist in the removal of the body, which was washed up against the rocks at the edge of the shoreline. Police are treating the death as “suspicious” as they investigate further.
