The body of an El Monte woman who disappeared while hiking alone on Mt. Huang was reported missing just before midnight; rescue crews went out to search for her around 2:30 a.m. on Feb. 5. Lifei “Ada” Huang, 22, disappeared about two hours into a solo trek Feb. 4 on Mt. The Sheriff’s Department has pushed to limit access to the peak. On Saturday, the Sheriff’s Department got a tip that someone flying a drone may have spotted Huang’s body near the San Antonia Creek Falls.
