York Regional police are investigating after a body was discovered near a school in Georgina Friday morning. Officers were called near Jersey Public School in the area of Glenwoods Ave., and The Queensway around 11:30 a.m., where a body of an adult woman was found. The mother of a nine-year-old boy said he was playing “cops and robbers” with friends in the area when he first noticed the woman’s body. Article Continued BelowShe continued that her son had to give his head a shake, at first not understanding what he was looking at. “He wants to know (as do I) what happened to this poor girl.” The woman said others who saw the woman’s body claimed to have noticed a belt around her neck, but her son did not.
