Police said that 4-year-old Khadiza Aktar Zannat’s body was recovered from a neighbour’s home around 2:30am on Wednesday. “Police have arrested Rakib and his mother.”Investigations have been launched to find a possible motive for the murder, said SI Suhrawardy. The body was found in a box at the home of neighbour Ranu Begum, said the police officer adding it was stuffed under the bed of Begum’s teenage son ‘Rakib’. Sub Inspector Shahid Suhrawardy said that the neighbour and her son have been detained over the killing. He said Zannat was missing since the afternoon.
