Firefighters discovered his body in the Tramuntana mountains around 10am today. A lengthy search was begun yesterday afternoon after the alarm was raised by other walkers he was with. Local reports say the body is that of a British man aged 50, said to have fallen to his death after losing his footing and plunging over a cliff. The Serra de Tramuntana is a mountain range running southwest–northeast in Mallorca and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2011.
