GEORGE TOWN: The body of the first of four victims, who perished in a fire that broke out at the house of Tanjung MCA Youth chief Lim Swee Bok, has been released. The body of Lim's mother Lau Sai Poh, 62, was released by the Penang Hospital at 4.43pm on Wednesday (Nov 15) . Lim and Penang MCA chairman Datuk Tan Teik Cheng along with other Penang MCA committee members arrived at the hospital's mortuary at around 3.30pm. The hearse carrying Lau's body then headed to the wake held at Sri Saujana flats on Macallum Street Ghaut. "We are contacting the Chinese embassy in Malaysia for the documents to prove the wife's nationality before the hospital can release the body.
