A man whose body was found missing a leg in an Auckland bay is believed to be a missing swimmer, and may have been killed by a boat. His body was spotted by passengers on a harbour ferry in Mairangi Bay, on the North Shore, about 4pm on Friday afternoon, NZME reported. He was believed to be a swimmer reported missing on Thursday from Narrow Neck Beach near Devonport, about 13km south of where the man's body was discovered. His body was recovered from the harbour on Friday afternoon, and enquiries into his cause of death were ongoing.
