A body found in southern Manitoba on Monday is that of a woman who had been reported missing in the area, RCMP confirmed Tuesday. RCMP reported the find near Schanzenfeld, Man., on Monday, but didn't confirm the body was Pluschnik's until Tuesday morning. The community in the rural municipality of Stanley is about 100 kilometres southwest of Winnipeg, near Winkler. Pluschnik's family told CBC News that she had just moved back to Schanzenfeld last week after living in Winnipeg for three years. The night she went missing she told family she was going to McDonald's.
