The identity of the man could not be verified immediately yet. Police recovered the body from Akij Goli near Hatirjheel Lake at 9:30am on Tuesday and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Morgue for an autopsy. Hatirjheel police station Sub-Inspector (SI) Khandoker Salim Shariar confirmed the matter. No locals could identify the man and efforts are being made to know his details, the SI added.
