Authorities said they found the body of a 31-year-old Prince George’s County man who was reported missing by his mother this month after he was last seen watching a football game. A photographer saw the body Sunday afternoon washed up on rocks near the Chesapeake Bay in Point Lookout State Park in St. Mary’s County. Authorities later identified the body as that of Ashley Thompson of Oxon Hill, who was last seen Nov. 13. Officials with the Maryland Natural Resources Police found an abandoned car at the Point Lookout park Nov. 15. The case is still under investigation and being transferred from the Maryland Natural Resources Police to Prince George’s County police.
