GEORGE TOWN: The bodies of 35-year-old Chen Yan and 62-year-old Lau Sai Poh were cremated on Sunday (Nov 19) following an hour of Taoist prayers and rituals. Chen and Lau were the wife and mother of Tanjung MCA Youth chief Lim Swee Bok. The bodies of Yin Chun and Jia Ying were cremated at the Batu Gantung crematorium at 11.10am on Sunday. Swee Bok broke down in tears when reading his eulogy on Sunday and conveyed his thanks to his wife and mother, pledging to continue his life as strong as he can. Among those present at the cremation ceremony were MCA Youth chief Datuk Chong Sin Woon, state MCA leaders and representatives from the state government as well as Chinese local associations and societies.
