Picture by SumanGaya: Bodhgaya Temple Management Committee has initiated the process of installing a luggage scanner to ensure smooth and fast entry of devotees at Mahabodhi Mahavihara. The scanner would be in addition to an existing one installed last December before the 34th Kala-chakra puja in January. The Dalai Lama will be arriving on December 26 for 50 days during which large gatherings of devotees is expected. The scanner to be installed will have additional, advanced features that will help it scan narcotics, too, apart from explosives.
