Jowen de la Cruz, chief of the Bocaue Police that operates from Barangay Poblacion in Bocaue, Bulacan, north of Manila. Joel Estaris conducted the entrapment against de la Cruz for alleged robbery-extortion and car theft that stemmed from a complaint of a brother of a drug suspect who was arrested by the Bocaue PNP in a recent operation. De la Cruz also allegedly demanded an Iphone X cellular phone worth P75,000 in exchange for the black SUV Mitsubishi Montero. An entrapment was immediately conducted that resulted in the arrest of the Bocaue Police chief. The CITF personnel left the Bocaue Police Station around 2:15 a.m. with de la Cruz.
