Rush will perform an acoustic set Sunday evening as opening act for Todd Park Mohr (of Big Head Todd & The Monsters) and Buddy Guy. “I think it’s the first time I’ve ever played with Buddy Guy acoustic,” said Rush of Sunday’s performance. This year, for Record Store Day, Rush released an updated take on the song featuring Buddy Guy in recognition of its 50th anniversary. Because, in this world, this category, Buddy Guy and myself are the oldest two people in the building. Because ever since I cut the record 50 something years ago, Buddy Guy does “Chicken Heads” every night in his show.
