Jack Rabinovitch, left, Judy Clarke and Bob Rae at the Siminovitch Prize gala for exceptional Canadian theatre at Hart House Theatre in 2014. Jack dedicated himself to learning the ropes of commercial real estate, and he quickly rose to the top of his profession. Jack visited my office and said he wanted to focus his energies on the new hospital, as a volunteer. It is said we hold on to life by a single thread, and for over three days Jack held on. “Think where man’s glory most begins and ends And say my glory was I had such friends.” Bob Rae delivered this eulogy for Jack Rabinovitch at Beth Tzedec Synagogue on Wednesday.
