HULU TERENGGANU: Two reporters from a production house based in Kuala Lumpur were saved after their fibre boat capsized about 100 metres away from the Pengkalan Gawi jetty in Tasik Kenyir. The boat, believed to be overloaded with items such as laptops, cameras, camera stands and drones, sank when both reporters were covering the Asean Monsoon Casting Tournament 2017 (AMCT 2017). The total losses suffered by the production team have not been determined as yet. The tournament has attracted 350 anglers from the Asean region as well as Austria, South Korea, Japan, China, Australia and the United States. He said four of the best local anglers will represent Terengganu at the International Bass Fishing at Andong Lake in South Korea early next year.
